Our Members post their family surnames here, hoping to connect with other people researching the same names and ancestors.

Online Databases

We have many online searchable databases (cemeteries, passenger lists, census lists, etc...) - you can search through the list as a non member but results are available for members only.

Index of Periodicals

We listed the genealogically significant articles and short entries, sorted them by location, and made them searchable by any word. The resulting index contains over 12,000 lines of data from 83 journals with issues spanning 30 years - information about the Irish in 62 countries. IGSI Members can access the entire database on-line in the Member's area.
