They have indexed numerous cemetery inscriptions within their area of Galway. We have a list of these at IGSI. They are now publishing a Journal, "Galway Roots/Clanna na Gaillimhe" which is an excellent publication. They have also published the book Inishbofin Through Time and Tide, which is available through them.
They have:
- The 1901 census, Griffith's Valuation and the Tithe Applotment Books.
- Local histories on most of the towns in the county.
- Indexed the County Galway Trade Directories dating from: 1820 to 1894 which can be researched.
- An excellent history and meaning of Irish surnames that can be compiled. Family crests hand painted suitable for framing.
- A professionally produced color video suitable for American video machines, titled Sights and Sounds of County Galway, available.
Searches undertaken in Civil Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths for County Galway after 1864. Fees quoted on request.
