Bray Cualann Historical Society

Attn: Claire Crowther

128, Newcourt Road, Bray

County Wicklow, Ireland

This Society has a card index of entries in church registers in Bray Town as follows:

  • Roman Catholic Baptisms, Marriages 1792-1900
  • Church of Ireland Baptisms, Marriages & Burials 1666-1900
  • Presbyterian Baptisms 1836-1900, Marriages 1853-1900
  • Methodist Baptisms 1863-1899

They ask that enquirers send them a preliminary payment to cover postage and expenses. If they find a great deal of information and have to do work beyond the specific family unit they may ask for a further amount, but their charges are low.

They publish a Journal. The 1990 Journal contains some material of genealogical interest such as "Some Wicklow and Other Memorials" by Brian J. Cantwell.
