Published a book on Crossmolina Parish (now out of print) and The Deel Basin, a Historical Survey, which contains articles on the North Mayo area. Almost all of the Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland records for the south of Mayo have been indexed. In addition to the church records, the centre has the following genealogical information available:
- List of all County Mayo persons who emigrated to Australia from: 1848Ð1868.
- Indexed Rent Rolls for the Browne estate, Claremorris (1860s), Lindsey Estate, Hollymount (1848Ð1854), Fitzgerald Estate, Turlough (1900), Hearne Rentals, Ballinrobe (1850s).
- Gravestone and memorial listings for twenty-three South Mayo cemeteries.
Membership is also available to this Society. Members receive an annual Journal. Research Forms and Applications available from IGSI.
